Job Opportunity: Inpatient Pharmacist

We are seeking two Inpatient Pharmacists to join the healthcare team at a hospital in Fort Mitchell, KY, conveniently located just across the Ohio state line, near Cincinnati, OH. Position Details:
- Duration: 13 weeks (with the possibility for extension)
- Shifts Available:
- Evenings: 5x8-hour shifts, rotating weekends
- Overnights: 7-on/7-off, 10-hour shifts
- EMR System: EPIC Key Responsibilities:
- Provide pharmaceutical care to patients, emphasizing clinical monitoring and therapeutic interventions that improve patient outcomes
- Offer educational programs and information to healthcare providers and patients
- Support Performance Improvement processes to optimize the Medication Use Process
- Ensure dispensing accuracy and guide pharmacy workflow to ensure the timely dispensing and distribution of medications
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care
Qualifications:- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of inpatient pharmacy experience is highly preferred
- Licensure: Must have a valid Kentucky Pharmacist license
- Flu shot: Required prior to starting
