Job Opportunity: Inpatient Pharmacist
Location: North East, MD
Hospital: 150-bed facility
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 13 weeks, with potential for contract-to-hire
We are seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist for an immediate opening at a 150-bed hospital in North East MD. This is a 13-week contract position with the potential for transitioning to a contract-to-hire role based on performance and mutual fit. For more information email Reagan - Reagan.Hill@soliant.com.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Variable days and afternoon shifts (either 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM)
- IT Systems: Experience with EPIC and Pyxis preferred
- Duties:
- Inpatient pharmacy responsibilities, including order verification, supervising pharmacy technicians, and performing pharmacokinetic monitoring
- Ensure the safe and effective use of medications in the hospital setting
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
Location: Northeast MD – a community-oriented area offering a welcoming and supportive hospital environment
Ideal Candidate:
- MD License (required)
- Inpatient experience is preferred
- Strong knowledge of order verification, pharmacokinetics, and supervising pharmacy technicians
- Comfortable working with EPIC and Pyxis
