Pediatric Speech Pathologist
Description:
RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Assessing, diagnosing, and treating pediatric patients having known or suspected speech, language, social communication, or cognitive-communication disorders in children.
Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology/Communication Disorders from an accredited graduate school. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
None.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Licensure by the Georgia Board of Examiners of Speech/Language Pathology. BLS certification through AHA.
