Job Title: Special Education Teacher (Elementary Resource)
Job Type: Full-Time (35-37.5 hours per week) / Part-Time (20-25 hours per week)
We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to provide resource support for elementary students in need of individualized assistance. This position offers both full-time (35-37.5 hours per week) and part-time (20-25 hours per week) opportunities. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting students with diverse learning needs in an onsite, resource-based setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support and resource services to elementary students with special needs.
- Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure students' academic goals and accommodations are met.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and support students' academic, social, and behavioral goals.
- Work with small groups and individual students to reinforce learning and improve skill development.
- Provide targeted interventions for students in areas such as reading, writing, and math.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education (or related field); Master's degree preferred.
- Certification in Special Education or equivalent.
- Experience working with elementary-aged students in a resource setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and IEP development.
