Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a supportive school district in the Rochester, WA area, serving elementary students. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to students’ communication development and work as part of a collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Speech-Language Pathologists in providing therapy services to elementary students.
- Implement treatment plans designed by the supervising SLP.
- Support students in individual and small group settings.
- Document progress and maintain accurate records of therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student goals.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program.
- Active Washington state SLPA license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Prior experience in a school setting is a plus.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
