Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join a closed-door, long-term care (LTC) pharmacy team in Fresno, CA. This is an excellent opportunity for new grads or experienced pharmacists looking to make an impact in a growing healthcare setting.
Responsibilities:
- Review and accurately fill medication orders for LTC patients
- Oversee and support pharmacy technicians in daily duties
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care
- Provide patient counseling as necessary
- Maintain pharmacy records and documentation
Ideal Candidate:
- Active CA Pharmacist License
- Experience in long-term care or closed-door pharmacy settings is a plus, but not required
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Local candidates preferred, but travel candidates will be considered
