We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. As a School-Based BCBA, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and overseeing behavior intervention plans to support students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other behavioral challenges. You will collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to develop effective strategies that promote positive behavior and enhance learning outcomes for students.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on assessment findings.
- Provide training and support to teachers and support staff on implementing behavior management techniques and interventions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and effective communication regarding student progress.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of behavior intervention plans and make necessary adjustments as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and intervention strategies.
- Provide support and guidance to parents/caregivers on implementing behavior management strategies at home.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required.
- Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field.
- Experience working with students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities in a school setting.
- Strong knowledge of behavior analysis principles and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
