The Department of Emergency Medicine at the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine seeks applicants for a full time PA-C position in the Adult Emergency Department at Boston Medical Center.
We are a Level 1 Trauma Center with 130,000 visits annually. Our patients come from diverse racial, ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds and reflect the vibrancy of our city. Our department has a nationally recognized, well-established academic EM residency program and we train medical and PA students. Our PAs enjoy this on-going learning environment as well as the opportunity to become teachers within our department. Physician Assistants have academic faculty appointments through Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine.
The PA will work clinically with attending physician supervision and support. Applicants are required to be NCCPA board certified, be licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Massachusetts, and preferably have a minimum of 12 months of clinical experience in acute care, ICU or Emergency Medicine.
