Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and empathetic School Psychologist to join our team . This role involves providing psychological services to students across K-12 settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychology and a passion for supporting students’ academic, emotional, and behavioral development.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Develop and implement intervention plans and provide counseling services to students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to support students’ educational and emotional well-being.
- Provide crisis intervention and support for students in acute distress.
- Assist in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives aimed at improving student outcomes.
- Provide training and support to school staff on mental health and behavioral issues.
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- Valid School Psychologist license or certification for the state of Texas.
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting preferred.
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and counseling skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators and administrators.
- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to fostering a positive learning environment.
