Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Occupational Therapist, the Occupational Therapist Assistant supports patient/resident well-being, rehabilitation, and recovery. Screens and treats patients/residents, documents services, and communicates with families and interdisciplinary team members while facilitating optimization of patient/resident participation in activities of daily living.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide professional occupational therapy services
- completes documentation accurately and timely
- Works efficiently and effectively while utilizing facility resources responsibility.
- Maintains adequate and up to date knowledge of Occupational Therapy, Rehabilitation Services and setting specific clinical and regulatory practices.
- Complies with all facility policy and procedures.
- Must be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program.
- Must have a current license to practice as an Occupational Therapist Assistant.
