Must-Have:
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited college of pharmacy
- Experience with computer operations, unit dose drug dispensing systems, IV admixture, and parenteral chemotherapy admixture preferred
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently, without direct supervision, within established policy
- Capability of supervising the work of support personnel
- Must have own vehicle
Job Description:
- COVID vaccination (dose date on or after 10/3/23) now required
- Responsible for the timely and accurate verification of all medication orders
- Safely prepare medications and other pharmaceuticals for dispensing to patients, clinics, and all eligible employees
- Research, educate, and communicate drug information to physicians, healthcare staff, and patients/families
- Knowledgeable of automated medication dispensing processes and reports
- Adhere to all applicable departmental and hospital policies and procedures
- Travel restrictions apply for residents living within 50 miles of the facility
- Requested time off during the course of the assignment must be noted and verified upon submission
- Holiday work and weekend shifts required as needed
- Must upload the following with the profile: work history, a pertinent skills checklist current to 1 year, 1 supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment, and license/certifications.
