Position Responsibilities
As an MRI Technologist, you will ensure safe and effective imaging procedures while producing high-quality diagnostic images for patient care. Responsibilities include:
- Preparing the MRI room, ensuring equipment operability and availability of all necessary supplies.
- Reviewing and documenting patient histories and exam details for radiologist interpretation.
- Operating MRI equipment with precision, adjusting settings such as TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, acquisitions, and field of view to optimize image quality.
- Administering venipuncture safely for contrast materials.
- Screening patients for metal objects and implants to ensure safety before entering the MRI room.
Position Details
- Type: Travel contract (hourly rate includes housing and meal stipends).
- Shifts Available: Day and night shifts.
- Applicants within 60 miles of the facility are considered locals and are not eligible for stipends.
Gifted Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in MRI certification and specialty.
- Strong expertise in Diagnostic Imaging, Fluoroscopy, Diagnostic X-Ray, and Sonography.
