School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Job Description:
Are you a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist looking to make a difference in the lives of students? We are hiring a dedicated SLP to join our school-based team near Shorewood, IL. In this role, you will work with students of varying ages and needs, providing therapy, assessments, and interventions to help them achieve their communication goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
- Provide direct therapy services in areas such as articulation, fluency, voice, language, and social communication.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to create a supportive learning environment.
- Monitor and document student progress, ensuring compliance with school and state regulations.
- Participate in IEP meetings, sharing insights and recommendations for student success.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Illinois state SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Prior experience in a school setting is a plus but not required.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
