Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Hourly Rate: $65 - $85
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in VA supporting K-5 students. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders while working closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to provide tailored therapy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to diagnose speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with educators and parents to create and review IEPs.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy as needed.
- Provide guidance and support to teachers and families on communication strategies.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure as an SLP and CCC-SLP certification (preferred).
- Experience working with AAC devices and K-12 students is required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration.
