Are you passionate about making a positive impact on students' lives through communication support? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Education Speech Therapist to join our team. As a vital member of our school community, you will have the opportunity to work closely with students, teachers, and parents to provide essential speech therapy services.
*This contract has a 4 day work week!
Responsibilities:
- Must be able to test and write reports, therapy, evals, supervising SLPAs
- Experience with Frontline software is a plus
- 7:30am - 4:15pm
- Conduct assessments to identify speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address students' communication needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students both individually and in group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support students' academic and social success.
- Monitor students' progress and adjust therapy goals and strategies as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of students' educational plans.
- Stay informed about best practices and current research in the field of speech therapy.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
- Valid state license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
