Position: Pharmacist-In-Charge
Setting: Retail
Type: Travel Contract (one store)
Location:
Tonopah, NV – approximately 4 hours from Reno and 3+ hours from Las Vegas.
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM (no weekends required).
Role Overview:
- The current Interim PIC will be opening a pharmacy in Las Vegas over the summer, so this position will open up again when they leave.
- You will be leading a team of two strong pharmacy technicians, providing supervision, and ensuring smooth daily operations of the pharmacy.
- Experience in opening/closing a retail pharmacy and supervising pharmacy technicians is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations and ensure the pharmacy is compliant with state and federal regulations.
- Supervise and support pharmacy technicians.
- Manage dispensing, inventory, and customer service.
- Handle all opening and closing duties for the pharmacy.
Software:
Travel Reimbursement:
- Mileage reimbursed (depending on location, you may be able to go home every other weekend).
- Meals reimbursed at $50/day.
- Hotel accommodations booked and covered by Soliant.
Requirements:
- Valid Pharmacy license in the state of Nevada.
- Proven experience in a retail pharmacy setting.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to work well with pharmacy technicians.
