Experience:
Candidates should have prior NICU/pediatrics experience.
Must have critical care experience to work in a high-volume ER, Level 1 Trauma Center, Level 3 NICU.
Proficiency in all treatment modalities is required.
Experience with Epic software is required.
Familiarity with all modes of mechanical ventilation, non-invasive ventilation, and nitric oxide delivery is essential.
Experience with Servo I, V60, Nitric, 3100A, 3100B, and Jet is necessary.
Candidates must have a minimum of one year of travel experience.
License:
Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner by the State Board of Medicine.
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
Certifications:
BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS
Must-Have:
Candidates must comply with COVID-19 and Flu Vaccine requirements, with only medical or religious exemptions accepted.
Travelers are required to work at least one holiday per season, with two winter holidays including Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's.
Description:
The role is for a Respiratory Therapist in the NICU/PICU setting.
The position is responsible for providing respiratory therapy services to infants and pediatric patients.
Candidates must be comfortable working with adults as part of their responsibilities.
The start is preferred to be as soon as possible.
A block schedule is available.
Orientation hours consist of 24 non-billable hours.
