Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse specializing in Wound Care to join our team at Quick Med Staffing in Lawrenceville, GA. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. Local candidates within 50 miles are not considered for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized care for patients with wounds, ostomies, and continence issues.
- Utilize and be proficient with relevant wound care treatments and practices.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to create and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on wound care management and prevention.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience within the specialty.
- AHA BLS certification.
- All RNs in the WOC Nurse role must have CWON(R) or CWOCN(R) certifications.
- Must have wound care certification (Ostomy certification is optional).
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
