Outpatient / Clinic Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
$10,000 / Two (2) Year Sign On Bonus*
SUMMARY:
In collaboration with, and under the direction and supervision of a physical therapist, helps each patient develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and working, through the therapeutic use of everyday activities and exercise, outlined in an established care plan.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education: Graduate of and degree holder from a Physical Therapist Assistant Education Program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education.
Experience: 12 to 18 months related experience, excluding clinical affiliations required to complete a degree.
Licensure: Current Arkansas PTA license in good standing required.
Certifications: Current CPR certification
Other: Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively. Basic computer knowledge required.
Preferred Education: Associates Degree

Must be able to stand and walk, bend, squat and twist, push, pull and occasionally lift up to 250 pounds using proper body mechanics up to or exceeding 8 hours per day. Requires repetitive hand movements. Must have a keen sense of hearing and visual acuity. Must have good manual dexterity. Must be able to operate a computer keyboard and PC mousse to utilize computer software for patient care documentation.
Work Environment:
Patient care setting: outpatient clinic environment. There is potential risk for exposure to communicable diseases and blood or other body fluids.
