Job Description:
1. To organize and facilitate project planning, daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos and other Scrum-related meetings.
2. To provide guidance in adopting Agile practices such as iterative development, self-organization, and continuous improvement.
3. To update agile tracking systems to provide transparency on Product & Sprint Backlogs
4. To assist team with making appropriate commitments by facilitating discussions on story selection and task definition, ensuring clarity, feasibility, and consensus.
5. To communicate with stakeholders, including product owners, customers, and management, to provide visibility into the team's progress, address concerns, and manage expectations.
Coaches the Agile Team, improves processes, and facilitates team meetings events
Fosters adoption of Agile technical practices.
Supports team rules Agile Team rules are lightweight; Scrum Master is responsible for reinforcing.
Assists PO preparing and refining backlog for PI and Iteration Planning
Works with RTETDM to ensure train meets overall PI Objectives Planning
Coordinates with Scrum Masters, System Team, and Shared Services in the ART PI Planning events
Works with the teams throughout each Iteration and PI
Participates in the scrum of scrums
Builds a high-performing team
Facilitates team s progress toward goals The Scrum Master is team facilitator and continuously engaged in challenging the old norms of development to improve performance in the areas of quality, predictability, flow, and velocity. Help team focus on creating increments of value each iteration.
Leads team efforts in relentless improvement and take responsibility for their actions; facilitates the team retrospective. Teaches problem-solving techniques and helps the team become better problem-solvers for themselves.
Fosters normalized estimating within the team
Removes impediments to the team s progress
Ensure team is following best practice like DOD, Feedback completion within Sprint timeline
Revisit the team Quality Metrix Mid and Sprint end
Helps team understand and operate within its capacity
Helps teams operate under architectural and portfolio governance, system integration, and System Demos.
