We’re seeking a skilled Travel Inpatient Pharmacist to join a dynamic healthcare team for a 13-week contract in Marshfield, WI. This role is ideal for pharmacists with inpatient experience eager to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
Position Details
- Location: Marshfield, WI
- Start Date: 1-2 Weeks
- Duration: 13 weeks, with potential for extension
- Schedule: 5x8-hour shifts (mix of days and evenings, rotating weekends)
- Environment: Inpatient pharmacy, including potential pediatric patient care
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently in an inpatient setting
- Review and verify medication orders, collaborating with medical teams to ensure optimal therapy
- Provide clinical support, including drug therapy management and medication counseling
- Assist with pediatric medication needs, as required
- Ensure compliance with all relevant pharmacy laws and regulations
Qualifications
- Licensure: Active Wisconsin Pharmacy License or a temporary Act 10 license for out-of-state pharmacists
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year in an inpatient pharmacy setting
- Schedule Flexibility: Ability to work evenings and rotating weekends
- Pediatric Care: Comfortable handling pediatric medication needs
Act 10 Temporary License Information
Out-of-state pharmacists can begin work immediately with a Wisconsin Act 10 temporary license, allowing for a seamless start while awaiting full licensure approval.
