The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients referred for Occupational Therapy services by an MD. Reporting to the Director of Rehabilitation, the Occupational Therapist will develop a comprehensive plan of care for each patient following evaluation. It is crucial for the Occupational Therapist to document all care provided accurately and ensure that charges are entered in a timely manner according to department policy. As a key member of the OT and Rehab teams, the Occupational Therapist will actively participate in planning for budget needs to support patient care. Additionally, the role involves involvement in department and organization improvement projects, equipment training, and participation in organizational safety and fire safety programs. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, a passion for patient care, and a commitment to professional development and continuous improvement.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current state license in Occupational Therapy
- Experience in evaluating and treating patients in an occupational therapy setting
