Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience working with children (school-based experience a plus!)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of IEP processes and educational laws
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students and develop individualized therapy plans
- Provide direct therapy services focusing on fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living tasks
- Collaborate with teachers & staff to create classroom accommodations
- Track student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and help set meaningful goals
- Provide guidance and resources for parents and caregivers
