Job Summary and Qualifications
The Investigational Drug Pharmacist serves as the primary point of contact for investigational drug studies and clinical trials for TriStar Centennial Medical Center. This responsibility includes overseeing clinical trial implementation and maintenance as well as operationalizing investigational drug pharmacy activities. This position is also responsible for training all pharmacy personnel involved in investigational drug storage, handling and dispensing. The Investigational Drug Pharmacist will participate in required meetings for clinical trials, lead site visits, and participate in audits. They will be the primary pharmacy contact for sponsors and research team members. They will also oversee pharmacy regulatory compliance with investigational drugs and work directly with the research team. The Investigational Drug Pharmacist will be on delegation of authority logs for many clinical trials.
