Adelphi is seeking for highly qualified and experienced Speech Language Pathologists to provide specialized speech language pathology services to students for a school district located in Tampa, Florida. The Speech-Language Pathologist will be responsible for conducting evaluations and providing educationally relevant treatment for students with speech language and related disorders across grade levels in accordance with federal, state and district policies. Responsibilities: Provide speech, language, hearing & communication screenings & evaluations for students in accordance with state & district rules, guidelines, and professional practice standards. Report and interpret findings of individual screenings and evaluations to parents, teachers, and other stakeholders Develop educationally relevant recommendations, therapy, and treatment plans in accordance with current eligibility and Individual Education Plan {IEP) processes. Provide services and direct instruction to students with speech-language and related disabilities using a variety of service delivery models. Monitor student progress and adjusts treatment plans to meet established goals and objectives. Maintain documentation of student progress data and service records in accordance with district, state, and federal policies, including privacy and confidentiality requirements. Train and supervise specialized support personnel in accordance with professional practice guidelines and state rules. May supervise clinical fellows and graduate students as assigned by the Supervisor. Serve as a resource for school problem-solving teams regarding speech, language, hearing, communication development, and the impact on educational achievement. Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to meet student needs related to established communication goals and objectives. Offer support for general language and communication development in the educational setting. Participate in specialized professional learning activities designed to improve professional practice and as required to maintain licensure and certification. Perform any other duties as assigned.
