Adelphi is seeking Speech Language Assistants to provide services to students in schools in diverse locations in Colorado. Collect data on student achievement in the speech/language areas for the purpose of documenting growth and progress towards IEP goals. Assist in facilitating communication between SLPs, site staff, parents (as requested) regarding student performance, progress and goals. Provide direct instruction designed by the SLP for the purpose of implementing goals for the remediation of speech and language deficits. Assist in the implementation of augmentative communication devices and strategies with individual students whose IEP requires them. Assist SLP in securing necessary assessments and materials. Participate in in-service trainings and workshops as requested, and parent/staff meetings when invited by the SLP. Other duties as assigned.
