A nonprofit services organization in New York City is currently seeking a Mandarin-speaking, licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a promisingopportunity at one of their schools in the Bronx.
Responsibilities:
The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will:
- Provide screening and therapy services, as assigned
- Keep accurate records, including daily session notes, quarterlies, and annual progress reports
- Provide consultation on issues involving effective motor development to teaching staff and other appropriate personnel and programs
- Conference regularly with parents regarding treatment and equipment needs of their children
- Participate in interdisciplinary case conferences to develop appropriate treatment plans for assigned children
- Adapt and adjust therapeutic equipment to meet the needs of the children
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree in Speech Language Pathology
- NYSSpeech Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- TSSLD
- Bilingual (English and Mandarin)
Desired Skills:- Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Experience in a Preschool setting
- Experience working with the Pediatric population
