lanning, organizing, implementing, and documenting specific evaluation & treatment programs for patients of varied ages and disabilities.About the Opportunity:- Start Date:ASAP
- Assignment Length:12 to 16 weeks
- Setting:Inpatient Acute Rehab / Acute Care
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8am to 4pm
- Caseload: 6 to 10 patients
Responsibilities:The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will:
- Obtainpertinent medical and social history
- Performthorough and accurate evaluations using techniques according to current professional and health system standards to objectively measure physical and functional status
- Determinefunctional and measurable shortand long term goals and designs an appropriate treatment program
- Performtreatment as outlined in the initial evaluation
- Modifytreatment, as necessary; updategoals and re-evaluatedischarge plans throughout the course of treatment according to current professional and health system standards
- Perform accurateclinical documentation is timely, objective and complete
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:- Graduate of an accredited curriculum with a Master's of Speech Pathology
- CT Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC)
- BLS certification
- Microsoft Office proficient
- Solid assessment and documentation skills
