This candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to an organization serving children with developmental delays and disabilities, adults with cognitive and intellectual disabilities, and veterans in need of employment assistance or who are homeless. What Youll Be DoingPerform intervention and evaluation activities for children birth to 3 in home, or other environmentProvide clinic-based evaluations for children not enrolled in Early Intervention, as needed. Write timely and complete evaluation reports, IFSP goals, progress notes, correspondence and other documentation needed to provide high quality services and meet state and company requirementsCreate strategies based on family priorities that are measurable and meaningfulEffectively communicate test results, diagnosis, and proposed strategies that are functional for the childs and familys life and are approached in a Primary Service provider model Collaborate with staff to implement IFSPs. Shares knowledge and resources that enhance childrens developmental progress Provide families and service providers information about proper techniques to assist with speech/language activities at home that supports the child and familys participationImplement the Primary Service Provider Model for children enrolled in Early Intervention Participate in Trans disciplinary team for Early Intervention caseload as a developmental expert and resource to peers Use correct CPT coding and non-coding based on billing hierarchyManage schedule to accommodate client schedules and meet billable client service hours set by the department (50%-62% of FTE)Is culturally responsive and competent in working with a diverse population and range of communication delays/disorders including Autism Spectrum DisorderAssist team members in advocating for the needs of the individual customer both within the agency and externally.
