Job Description: The selected Speech-Language Pathologist will provide services to students who meet eligibility requirements for speech impaired as part of their educational program. The SLP will communicate with professionals and parents regarding integration of goals that require therapy support into the classroom and home environment. SLPs will evaluate communication skills of referred students and diagnose speech and/or language disorders and make treatment recommendations. SLPs will participate in or conduct individual education plans (IEPs) in order to discover and relate pertinent data and determine the needs of the student. The selected SLPs will have the opportunity to provide direct and consultative services, collaborating with teachers parents, administrators, and allied agencies in order to integrate the educational goals across settings.
