The Speech Language Pathologist will be responsible for: -Screening and evaluating patients with dysphasia, aphasia, feeding, and swallowing disorders -Treating speech, language, and communication disorders-Interpreting findings in order to establish a diagnosis to identify impairments, determine the predicted level of improvement, and time required to achieve it-Developing appropriate treatment goals and methods in collaboration with the resident and caregivers, implementing the treatment plan, and completing all related documentation required for those services-Attending and contributing to resident care, staff conferences, and other related meetings-Consulting with and making referrals to other disciplines in order to address the comprehensive needs of the resident-Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that the resident and their families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate environment--Supervising supervise CFYs
