Provide connections to community services and providers to address ongoing mental health needs. Provide follow up services after law enforcement involvement. Facilitate or support incident de-briefing as required. Maintain documentation related to program usage and outcomes. Provide crisis intervention services includig crisis assessment, disposition and short term follow up crisis counselling. Participate in ongoing annual training, cross training and professional development programs. Deliver training and mentoring to the employees of the Department on mental health. Collaborate with contracted wellness provider officers to promote physical and mental wellbeing of personnel. Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of managed healthcare and insurance systems. Any other duties as assigned.
