GENERAL DESCRIPTION:The Staff Therapist provides individual, group, couple and family therapy. Participates as a clinical staff team member, participates in staffing and clinical team meetings, performs necessary administrative tasks, and helps market the Agencys services. The Staff Therapist maintains an attitude/manner consistent with the mission statement of the Agency. EXPECTATIONS:CounselingMaintain the number of clinical hours as contracted (Minimum 25 face-to-face clinical hours per week)Represent the standards and practices of counseling in accordance with the Agencys mission statementMaintain clinical records in accordance with professional and Agency guidelinesWork with the administrative staff/supervisor/billing to resolve client and collection issuesIn absence of receptionist, collect payments and write receipts to clientsClinical Staff ParticipationWork cooperatively with staff colleagues, consultants and referring professionalsActively participate in clinical staff meetings and case consultations when possibleAttend administrative staff meetings, staff retreats, certification/licensure reviews and team building activitiesAgency Administration and DevelopmentParticipate in the development of the Agencys community relations and referral networkRequired to collect client payments in absence of receptionist & write/print receiptPerform administrative and development tasks as assignedParticipate in and support Agency fundraising functions and public relations initiativesEXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONSMasters degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy or equivalent from an accredited college or universityClinical training and experience appropriate to the requirements of the positionLicensed in the State of IndianaPersonal liability insurance
