Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate LICENSED MENTAL HEALTH THERAPIST (LMFT, LMHC, LCSW) to join our team. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing support and therapeutic services to individuals experiencing mental health challenges. Your expertise and guidance will help clients navigate their emotional well-being and develop effective coping strategies.

Duties:

- Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess clients' mental health needs

- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to address clients' specific concerns

- Implement crisis intervention techniques to support clients in times of acute distress

- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on clients' goals and needs

- Utilize behavioral therapy techniques to promote positive change in clients' thoughts, emotions, and behaviors

- Conduct patient assessments to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care for clients

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes

- Stay informed about current research and best practices in the field of mental health therapy.

Master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field

Active state licensure as a mental health therapist:

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)

Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

Licensed Psychologist (PsyD)

Familiarity with evidence-based practices for mental health treatment

Skills:

Bilingual: English & Creole or English & Spanish

- Strong understanding of crisis intervention strategies

- Proficient in conducting individual and group counseling sessions

- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to establish rapport and build trust with clients

- Knowledge of diagnostic evaluation methods for mental health disorders

- Experience in implementing behavioral therapy techniques

- Ability to conduct thorough patient assessments to inform treatment planning

- Familiarity with pediatric mental health issues is a plus

- Proficient in maintaining accurate medical records and documentation

- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
