Position Overview:
Soliant Education is seeking a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for an onsite position in Fullerton, CA for the 2024-2025 school year. The BCBA will work at an elementary school for four days a week and at a middle school for one day a week. In this role, the BCBA will support students by developing and implementing Positive Behavior Support (PBS) plans, conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs), providing intervention support, collecting data, and ensuring the success of behavior programs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor Positive Behavior Support plans (PBS) for students in both elementary and middle school settings
- Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) to identify the causes of challenging behaviors and create appropriate interventions
- Provide guidance and support to school staff in implementing behavior intervention strategies
- Collect, track, and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and modify as necessary
- Provide training for teachers, paraprofessionals, and other school staff on behavior management techniques
- Collaborate with school staff, administrators, and parents to ensure consistency in implementing behavior plans
- Attend IEP meetings and provide behavioral insights when necessary
- Work directly with students to implement interventions in one-on-one and group settings
- Regularly report on student progress and adjust plans as needed
Requirements:
- Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification (required)
- Experience working with elementary and middle school students
- Strong knowledge of Positive Behavior Support (PBS) plans and Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs)
- Expertise in designing and implementing behavior intervention strategies
- Ability to analyze data to inform intervention decisions
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
