Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Monterey, CA. This full-time, onsite position is open to both experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (CCC) and Clinical Fellows (CFY). You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic school setting, providing speech and language services to students and supporting their communication development. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, a passion for helping students succeed, and the ability to collaborate with other professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments for students.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in one-on-one or small group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students’ academic and social success.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary.
- Maintain detailed documentation of services, progress, and goals.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to developing educational goals.
- Support a positive and inclusive school environment for all students.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- California state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
- ASHA Certification (CCC) or eligibility (CFY candidates).
- Experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with other staff.
