Job Summary
Responsible for the comprehensive Occupational therapy of assigned patients to include evaluation, program planning, treatment implementation, documentation and discharge planning. Assist Director with Operations of the department as needed.
- Plan and coordinate treatment programs and discharge plans
- Develop and execute patient treatment plan safely and effectively
- Maintain standards for treatment procedures and professional ethics
- You will direct student treatments according to departmental policies and formally evaluate student performance during the affiliation
- Execute treatments and adjust treatment times based on diagnosis and patient need
- Completes position responsibilities following established guidelines & protocols within the appropriate time frame.
- Works efficiently and productively on an independent basis.
- Demonstrates ability to set priorities. Is competent & responsible in prevention of contamination & transfer of infection.
- Uses all equipment in a safe & effective manner.
- Demonstrates an appreciation of cost factors in the routine performance of duties.
What qualifications you will need:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Occupational Therapy (OT)
- Bachelors Degree
- 10 years of experience preferred
